Summer school on sensitivity analysis in Venice

The Joint Research Centre of the European Commission and the University of Venice organise the third summer-school on sensitivity analysis of model output.

The summer school will be held at the University of Venice "Ca' Foscari", Faculty of Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences, Santa Marta, Dorsoduro 2137, Venice, from 13 to 17 September.

The course will be partly structured around the recent book "Sensitivity analysis in Practice: A Guide to Assessing Scientific Models", written by the Ispra team and published by Wiley.

A copy of the book will be part of the package for the registered attendants. Furthermore, lectures will be given from international experts from other groups and schools of thought in sensitivity analysis. These include Roberto Pastres, of the Univeristy of Venice, Terry Andres, of the University of Manitoba, Bruce Beck from the University of Georgia US, Michael McKay, Los Alamos National Laboratories, Peter Young, U. of Lancaster, Marc Kennedy, University of Sheffield, Toshimitsu Homma, Japan Atomic Energy Research Institute and Dorota Kurowicka of the Technical University of DELFT, NL.
